Over the weekend of October 15-18, we experienced a failure of our mailserver. Despite efforts by the provider, we were unable to send or receive emails until the evening of the 18th. In the interim, we have added a back up mailserver, which will not only que emails until the main mailserver comes back up, but will also allow us to access the queued emails before they are delivered.

Despite our firm using one of the larger email providers, we lost email service for a period of time. To prevent this in the future, we are now using dnsexit.com as our backup and emergency email provider.
